Shoot, my son's 3 1/2 and he's not trained either. But our friends have their daughter fairly potty trained and she said it just took them getting a different potty. I got the fancy one that looks like a toilet and he just thinks it's a toy, but he'll sit on it and pretend if I'm going. I'm going to try to set it up next to the potty, he's shown SO MUCH more of an interest now that daddy's home. They have the safety first (I think) potty and he tried to snag it when we were over there and he sat on it and sat on it. So I'm not sure if we should try switching or not. I've got a few books on it but I can't begin to tell you whether they're good or not because I just haven't had time to read them!

Pull-ups never worked for me! They are just like a diaper. When my son was that 2 I just put him in underpants during the day at home. Its a little more messing but they really figure out there body funtions when they can feel it. They make more expensive cloth training pants that work well and are less messy and one pair is cheaper than a bag of pull-ups. Let me know what you think :) Christin
