Hi everyone, I'm new to the tribe and figured I would introduce myself. I'm 26 and have a 6 month old son. My husband is currently in Iraq, and like you Della, I just moved and don't know anyone either. I moved from alaska down here to south carolina so that I would have the support of my husbands' family while he is gone. But I don't know anyone but them and I'm a stay at home mom, with a few online businesses I'm trying to get going and so I don't get out and meet new people very much.

Hello. I'm brnd new to this tribe and to this website as well. I'm 23, a stay at home mom of 2. I have a 2 yr. old daughter and a 3 month old son. I currently reside in West Palm Beach, FL.

I'm living in Saint Augstine, FL, but my home town is in Lehigh Acres. I love it here in Saint Augustine, but I will probably be moving away to Gerogia sometime within the next few years (depending on where the government will station my fiance). I spend most of the year here in Saint Augustine (September - June) and the rest back home with my in-laws and my grandfather.
I'm looking to have kids very soon, it's been a dream of mine since I was a pre-teen! I'm also going to be a homemaker (finances allowing) and I am hoping to find other women with husbands/fiances in the military, dreaming of or already with children and who stay at home!
I'd love to find someone who I can talk to, who can watch our kids (and me watch theirs) when we just need that alone time, who can become a part of my family as well as my most trusted friend. (Sounds like a lot to ask, though, doesn't it!)

i have two awesome kids ages 3 and 4 names, Willow and Aspen
i have been a SAH mom for about 5 years and i am 25 years old
i like staying at home i think i have it pretty good i enjoy my kids we have alot of fun together
its been a total blessing that i have been able to be there full time for them ....i can't even remember what its like working a "real "job
i stay busy crafting and making hula hoops , yes hula hoops, going to see live music getting out when i can
but family is numero uno

I'm in Runnemede, NJ........SAHM with 2 kids - one 8 yr old boy, and a 3 yr old girl - I also have a stepdaughter who is one yr older than my son.....My sister is going to move to SC (if I'm not mistaken u live in NC).....beautiful area.

I'm a SAHM too. I have 3 boys, ages 15 months, 3, and 5. I live in Elizabeth City, NC. Just moved here last year from VA. Don't really have any friends. At least, none with children. Everyone I meet seems to have such a busy schedule. I don't really do much other than take care of the kids and normal everyday mom stuff! :) Pleased to find this site. Hope it will be very therapeutic for me in finding some women in my same "boat" so to speak. Women need other women and I'm excited to meet some other SAH moms!

Hi all! I'm new to the website and the tribe. I'm 24 and I have a 2 1/2 year old daughter and a 2 month old son. I live in Loves Park, Illinois...about 2 hours west of Chicago. I'm a SAHM and have been since I got pregnant with my daughter in July 2003. It's really tough to make friends in this area since I don't have time to get out of the house...without the kids that is. My hubby works 3rd shift and goes to school full-time so I sometimes feel like a single mom. It's tough, but I'm hoping this tribe will find me meeting new friends :)

Hey, I know this is an old post but I just joined and thought I would take advantage. I'm 26 and just moved to California with my husband - always wanted to be a stay at home mom, and am now looking forward to it. My daughter is still only 15 months old; I went back to work when she was six months and stopped nursing, so I didn't really miss out on that much time with her. I've always been a pretty active person, though, and am trying to work out some volunteer work offering free yoga classes to people in recovery from addictions. (just got my certificate before moving here)
Looking forward to the communication and getting to know other moms!

I am new to this tribe and seem to be the only one from Australia! Are there any other lovely ladies from the land of Oz out there?
I have a gorgeous 5 1/2 month old boy Joshua Pendragon who was the first baby born for the new year 2007 at royal brisbane hospital.
He is a handful, and i am SAH by choice, but for some reason I LOVE IT!!! I wouldn't have it any other way, and dread the day that i may have to return to work due to finances.
